KEMPER MaxiFil – replacement filters for mobile and stationary units

The KEMPER MaxiFil captures welding fumes through an adjustable extraction arm. Designed for regular use with medium quantities of fumes and dust, it is available in mobile and stationary versions. Both use the 42 m² disposable filter shown here.

For replacement, choose the original round filter KEMPER 1090517 with an integrated prefilter. Small motor-cooling prefilter mats are also available as original or alternative packs. For units with an additional activated-carbon stage, we supply separate replacement filters for MaxiFil.

One filter for mobile and stationary MaxiFil units

The mobile version can be moved between workplaces. A stationary MaxiFil stays at its designated location while its extraction arm is brought towards the welding point. KEMPER specifies replacement filter 1090517 for both versions.

42 m² of filter area in a Safe Change Filter

The original MaxiFil disposable filter with prefilter is a round filter, 600 mm in diameter and 440 mm high. It has 42 m² of filter area and filter class E12. The element includes the knitted aluminium prefilter and belongs to the Safe Change Filter system. In this design, the filter forms part of the removable housing, reducing contact with deposited dust during the prescribed replacement procedure.

Older filter arrangements may carry reference 1090468. This round filter is replaced once saturated.

Prefilter mats for motor cooling

The small mats corresponding to reference 1090472 are intended for motor cooling. They are a separate maintenance item alongside the round filter and its integrated prefilter. The offered mats measure 207 × 207 × 17 mm, are made from polyester fleece and come in packs of ten. Choose the original KEMPER pack or the compatible alternative pack.

Cellulose and polyester nanofibre fleece in the round filter

The genuine round filters offered here use cellulose with polyester nanofibre fleece. The pleated medium forms the large disposable-filter surface. The integrated knitted-aluminium prefilter captures coarser particles upstream. The main medium and metal prefilter stage therefore come together in the removable filter unit.
